1) In your own words describe your unique style and creative aesthetic?

I’m drawn to timeless, modern design, which is reflected in Interior Define’s product assortment. At home, I mix vintage and modern – and generally lean toward neutral colors with an assortment of bold textures.

2) When starting a new project, what is your creative process?

We created Interior Define to offer premium-quality, custom sofas at an attainable price. When meeting customers, we develop an understanding of their unique space and lifestyle, and then figure out the design and materials to tailor make just for them.

3) Out of the creative people you have worked with, who is it that you respect and admire the most?

I owe my passion for design to my parents. My mother is an interior designer and artist, and my father is an architect. They instilled an appreciation for thoughtful design, both in furniture and spaces. They taught me to look at spaces with a creative eye – and to consider how great design can positively impact your life.I owe my passion for design to my parents. 4) When looking for inspiration is there a particular thing you do to get inspired?

I keep inspirational lookbooks on digital platforms like Houzz and Pinterest, and attempt to take photos of everything that inspires me; particularly while traveling.

5) What has brought you to this point in your career? And what is your advice for people looking to follow in your footsteps?

Prior startup experience combined with a passion for design inspired me to start a furniture brand. Regardless of your career interest, I recommend working at a startup at some point in your career. It exposes you to aspects of a business you may not otherwise see – and it may inspire you to start your own business.
